Yollanda Elizabeth Chimbarami represented Zimbabwe in the 50th edition of Miss Intercontinental and the 63rd edition of Miss International. She was supposed to represent the country in the 15th edition of Miss Supranational but she withdrew from the competition.

BIOGRAPHY

Chimbarami is a Zimbabwean economist, actor, voice over artist, shoe designer, philanthropist, model and beauty queen born in Mutare, Manicaland, Zimbabwe and raised in a farm in Harare, Zimbabwe. She attended Westridge High School in Harare and co-founded Help a Child Save a Nation (HACSAN), a nonprofit organization that funds tuition for learners at 11 schools in Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe.

Chimbarami has one older sibling and one younger sibling. From Harare, she moved to Manitoba, Canada.

In Canada, Chimbarami served as a United Nations panelist and spoke on educational access in Africa. While pursuing a master’s degree in economics and finance, she reigned as Miss International Zimbabwe 2025.

2010s

  • On December 20, 2013, she won Miss Harare Junior 2014 at the Rainbow Parklane Theatre in Harare.
  • On June 14, 2014, she competed against 15 other Miss Zimbabwe 2014 at Mabvazuva Village in Msasa, Harare. She was unplaced. At 16, she made history as the youngest beauty queen to join the competition.
  • In January 2017, she entered the University of Manitoba.

2020s

  • In April 2021, she graduated from the University of Manitoba.
  • On October 14, 2022, she represented Zimbabwe at Miss Intercontinental 2022 and competed against 70 other candidates at the Meraki Resort in Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt. She finished in the Top 20.
  • On November 27, 2025, she represented Zimbabwe at Miss International 2025 and competed against 79 other candidates at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. She was runner-up to Catalina Duque of Colombia.
