May Torowi Hasola of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea competed against nine other Miss Bird of Paradise Papua New Guinea 2024 candidates at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Haus in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on December 3, 2024. As Miss Paradise Boutique, she won the title.

On December 2, 2025, Hasola crowned her successor Iampela Popena of Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea at the APEC Haus. The latter will represent the country at Miss Pacific Islands 2026.
