Tamunosoye Karibi George represented Nigeria at Miss Africa International 2024 and competed against nine other candidates at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghan on December 14, 2024. She won the title.

On December 6, 2025, Karibi George crowned her successor Stephanie Oben at the Centrepoint Event Centre in Abuja, Nigeria. The latter is the first Miss Africa International from Cameroon.

Oben holds a bachelor’s degree in international business administration. She is the founder of the Wear Your Crown community and Beyond Borders Cameroon, which are initiatives that empower women to embrace confidence and support Cameroonian youth through education.

Aside from being fluent in English and German, Oben also speaks basic French. In her free time, she enjoys watching beauty pageants and Korean dramas and playing badminton.
