He has transitioned from a local powerlifter to an international ambassador for Arctic strength and is best known for winning the Greenland’s Strongest Man title for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021.
In 2022, Lorentzen became the first athlete from Greenland to ever compete in the World’s Strongest Man in Sacramento, California, United States. Standing 188 cm tall and weighing approximately 140 kg, he holds the national deadlift record of 425 kg, a feat he achieved in February 2022.
