Winzar Jedidiah Shadrack Kakiouea, 24, has made history as the first ever Mister Frontier Emerald. He is a sprinter from Nauru, the third smallest country in the world next to Vatican and Monaco.
On December 21, 2025, CONAN Daily selected Kakiouea as Nauru’s candidate in the inaugural edition of Mister Frontier International. The publication established the exclusive digital search to spotlight the last frontiers of beauty pageant to ensure that by the end of 2025, every country and territory has a representative celebrated in pageantry.
Winzar Kakiouea
A versatile Nauruan athlete of the Iruwa tribe, Kakiouea achieved the historic distinction of being the sole representative for Nauru at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. He reached the elite level of sprinting despite being raised in a country without a single dedicated racetrack.
Before focusing on track, Kakiouea excelled in other disciplines, winning a national powerlifting competition and becoming one of the top Australian rules football players in Nauru. Professionally, he balances his athletic pursuits with his work as a telecom cable repairman and he credits his father as the primary inspiration behind his sporting journey.
Widely recognized as the fastest man in Micronesia, Kakiouea’s sprinting career is defined by consistent regional success and a rapid climb in the world rankings. He won a silver medal in the 4 x 100 relay at the 2018 Micronesian Championships and served as Nauru’s flag bearer at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
Mister Frontier International 2025
At the 2024 Micronesian Games, Kakiouea secured three gold medals and one bronze medal and set a personal best of 10.82 seconds in the 100m. To honor this record-breaking speed that solidified his status as a premier regional sprinter and a symbol of Nauruan resilience on the global stage, he was appointed Mister Frontier Nauru 2025 by CONAN Daily.
Including Kakiouea, 35 men were handpicked by the publication as the Mister Frontier International 2025 candidates. They were scored based on the engagement their photos and videos received on the CONAN Daily platforms from December 21-30, 2025, their photogenicity and their global influence.
Before the final round, Kakiouea won the special title Mister Pacific Sprint Frontier 2025. By finishing in fourth place overall, he has earned the honorary title of Mister Frontier Emerald 2025.
Wisdom and growth are the core virtues symbolized by emeralds. For a trailblazing athlete like Kakiouea, these values are more than just symbols—they are the foundation of his journey.
It was Prince Abdul Mateen, 34, of Brunei who won the Mister Frontier International 2025 crown. Also crowned were Mister Frontier Diamond 2025 Karalo Maibuca, 26, of Tuvalu, Mister Frontier Sapphire 2025 Kaimauri Erati, 20, of Kiribati and Mister Frontier Ruby 2025 Myrat Bayram, 35, of Turkmenistan.
Mister Frontier International is an independent, non-commercial digital initiative. All titles are strictly honorary and do not carry monetary rewards, physical sashes or material prizes. The true value of each title is the historic opportunity to serve as a global ambassador for a nation rarely celebrated in beauty pageants. By bypassing the traditional physical stage, the titleholder and CONAN Daily join forces to make history in pageantry.
