Maria del Mar Cepero Jimenez of Puerto Rico, United States was 26 years old when she won Miss Intercontinental 2024 at Tal Avenue in Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt on December 6, 2024. A total of 59 candidates competed for the title.
Runner-up to Cepero was Georgette Musrie of Venezuela. The respective second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth runners-up were Alyssa Redondo of the Philippines, Bui Khanh Linh of Vietnam, Celina Weil of Germany, Kenyatta Beazer of the United States and Amanda Peresu of Zimbabwe.
Miss Intercontinental 2025
On January 29, 2026, Cepero will crown her successor at the V Luxury Resort in Sahl Hasheesh, Egypt. It is the 53rd edition of the international beauty pageant led by Detlef Tursies.

Established in 1971, Miss Intercontinental is based in Egypt. Currently, Puerto Rico is the territory with the most wins in the international beauty pageant with five crowns, which were won in 1986, in 1991, in 2010, in 2016 and in 2024.
Also with five crowns each, Venezuela and the United States are the countries with the most Miss Intercontinental wins. Brazil, Germany and Russia have three crowns each.
Venezuela won Miss Intercontinental in 1974, in 2001, in 2005, in 2009 and in 2012. The U.S. won it in 1973, in 1979, in 1982, in 1994 and in 2011.
