Yazar Htet Aung, also spelled Yar Zar Htet Aung, competed against 19 other Mister Myanmar 2025 candidates at the Eravati Sule Grand Yangon in Kyauktada Township, Yangon, Myanmar on July 20, 2025. He won the title.
Runner-up to Yazar was Rico Htut. The respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Thet Wai Ko, Lum Tu Arsin, Koe and Min Khant Win.
On September 7, 2025, Thet represented Myanmar at Mister Cosmopolitan 2025, competed against 17 other candidates at Siam Fantasy in Bangkok, Thailand and was unplaced. On September 25, 2025, Yazar represented Myanmar at Mister International 2025, competed against 41 other candidates at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bang Khen, Nonthaburi, Thailand and finished in the Top 20.
Mister Myanmar 2026
On April 7, 2026, Yazar will crown his successor at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon, Myanmar. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant organized by Burmese Face Co. Ltd.
In this edition, the main winner will represent Myanmar at Mister International 2026. Three more winners will be crowned and they will represent the country at Man of the World 2026, Mister Friendship International 2026 and Mister Eco International 2026.
There are 20 men competing for the three titles. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

On March 4, 2026, the Mister Myanmar 2026 candidates were officially introduced at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel. Ko Aung Pyae Phyo will host the coronation ceremony, which will be attended by Mister International 2025 Kirk Bondad.
The main titleholder will receive a ruby crown, which weighs 40 carats. He will not be allowed to sell the crown, which is worth more than 300 million kyats ($14,286).
