On April 9, 2026, the School District of Cudahy announced the arrest of a staff member of Cudahy High School, the only high school in the district. The Cudahy Police Department was not involved in the arrest.

The staff member was arrested by the Waukesha Police Department and is being investigated by the FBI’s field office in Milwaukee. On April 10, 2026, the individual will be processed at the Waukesha County Courthouse in Waukesha.

The identity of the individual has yet to be revealed. The school district stated, “Because this is an ongoing legal matter, we are limited in the details we can share.”

Demetrian Carr

On December 9, 2025, a female Cudahy High School student reported to a school resource officer two incidents of sexual assault involving Demetrian Carr, 28, a staff member of the school. That day, the Cudahy Police Department responded to the school and took him into custody.

According to the student, she was contacted in 2023 by Carr via Snapchat where they later exchanged flirtatious messages. She said he she sexually assaulted her twice when she was 15.

According to the police department, both incidents of sexual assault happened years earlier outside the school campus. Carr was placed on leave after his arrest and on December 12, 2025, he was charged with two felony counts of sexual assault of a child under 16.
