1. He was born in 1992.
2. In 2008, he started his National Institute of Technical Education Certificate (NITEC) course in hair fashion and design.
3. In 2010, he was part of Singapore’s national team at the 8th WorldSkills Asean in Bangkok, Thailand where he won a gold medal and he completed his first NITEC.

TIMELINE

Ng first worked as a hair assistant before being promoted to stylist and opening his own salon. He is the first Singaporean beauty king to place in the Top 5 of Mister Global.

2010s

• In October 2011, he went to London, England for the 41st WorldSkills Competition for Hairdressing and won a medallion for excellence.
• On May 6, 2016, he represented Singapore at Mister Global 2016 and competed against 29 other candidates at the Chiang Mai Hall in Chiang Mail Central Plaza Airport in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He was fourth runner-up to Tomáš Martinka.
• On September 1, 2016, he, Haja Reethwan, Low Kang Li, Kim Nakyung and Quek Qiao Hui had a meeting where he shared how he got involved with hairstyling as a career and his past experiences working in different hair salons.
• In November 2016, he opened Harts Salon.
• In July 2017, he was second runner-up in the L’Oreal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy 2017 (Singapore) hairstyling competition.
