Parry is an Australian-Burmese actor, model and beauty queen based in Yangon, Myanmar. Her Australian father Jeff Parry is from Korumburra, Victoria, Australia while her Burmese mother Soesoe Aye is from Hpa-An.

May Grace is an alumna of the International School of Myanmar in Yangon and the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Victoria. Her younger sister Jessica Louise Parry, a singer, also went to the same university.
