Mariyam Lorba Konneh represented Sierra Leone in the 73rd edition of Miss World. Founded by Eric Morley, it is an international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
BIOGRAPHY
Konneh is a Sierra Leonean television presenter, entrepreneur and beauty queen from Pujehun, Sierra Leone. An advocate for menstrual health, girls’ education and youth empowerment, she founded of the skincare and beauty brand Mariyam’s Ways, the feminine hygiene product line Mariyam’s Essentials and the lifestyle brand All Your Phases.
After graduating from Beacon High School in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Konneh entered the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) of the University of Sierra Leone in Freetown. She obtained a certificate in computerized accounting from BlueCrest College in Freetown and a certificate in business and accountancy from the International Business Management Institute, an online education provider based in Berlin, Germany.
While attending IPAM and hosting the show “Mariyam’s Ways” at the Africa Young Voices Media (AYV) on MultiChoice DStv channel 399, Konneh was appointed Miss World Sierra Leone 2026. She is the 16th woman to represent Sierra Leone in Miss World.
