Mister International has two unrelated versions: one in Thailand and one in the Philippines. This started in its 15th edition after the death of its founder Alan Sim.

Mister International 2023 Jose Calle was not able to attend the Mister International 2024 coronation ceremony in the Philippines because of the floods in his hometown Valencia, Spain. His successor was crowned by Mister International 2022 Lukanand Kshetrimayum.
