After graduating from Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya in Colombo, she entered the Metropolitan School of Business and Management London in London, England, United Kingdom.
Before becoming a beauty queen, she was a national basketball player in Sri Lanka.
She was born in 1999.

In 2021, she became the sports and recreational director of the Rotaract Club of Colombo North in Colombo.
