Jose Anmer Paredes Jaimes represented Venezuela in the eighth edition of Mister International. After winning the competition, he moved to Metro Manila, Philippines.

Mister International was founded on September 1, 2006 by Alan Sim, who passed away on October 12, 2022. Pradit Pradinunt became the new president of the beauty pageant on October 31, 2022.

Paredes is a Venezuelan model and beauty king with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is the first ever Mister International from Venezuela.
