Carlos Antonio Saenz, 47, of Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia, United States was recently arrested. He is accused of being an online predator.

Prince William County is around 26 miles away from Fairfax County, Virginia. Recently, the Major Crimes Bureau’s Child Exploitation Unit (CEXU) of the Fairfax County Police Department conducted a multi-day operation targeting online predators, which led to the arrest of seven men including Saenz.

On February 11, 2025, the FCPD announced the arrest of Saenz and the six other men. Upon arriving in Fairfax County with plans to commit sexual acts with minors, the men were arrested by detectives from FCPD’s CEXU and the Street Crimes Unit.

Saenz is the third oldest among the seven suspects. They are accused of using online platforms to initiate inappropriate conversations with individuals they believed to be underage.

The seven suspects collectively face a total of 25 felony charges. In particular, Saenz was charged with solicitation of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Before moving to Manassas, Saenz lived in different parts of Maryland, USA including Rockville and Takoma Park. Manassas is around 41 miles away from Takoma Park.

Manassas is home to Annaburg, a summer home built by Robert Portner in 1892. In July 2019, the city bought the home to be restored and preserved as a public park.

In November 2020, Michelle Davis-Younger was elected as the mayor of Manassas. A native of the city, she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Strayer University in Washington, D.C., USA.
