Who is Jesse Rex Orndoff?
Jesse Rex Orndoff, 30, of Selma, Josephine County, Oregon, United States was employed by the school district of Rogue River, Jackson County, Oregon as a Rogue River High School science teacher. While employed with the school district, he also served as the robotics club advisor, assisted with wrestling and coached high school track.
In Orndoff’s final year with the school district, he served as its athletic director. At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, he resigned from his position with the school district to take a position in a different school.
Most recently, Orndoff was employed with the Rogue Christian Academy in Grants Pass, Josephine County. On February 13, 2025, a woman went to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) to report that she was the victim of sexual abuse perpetrated by him.
According to the woman, she was abused by Orndoff for several years while she was between 15 to 17 years old. During those years, he was a Rogue River High School teacher.
The woman is no longer a student at the school. Orndoff was her teacher and coach.
JCSO deputies arrested Orndoff. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail in Medford, Jackson County and charged with 10 counts each of second-degree sex abuse, third-degree sodomy and third-degree rape.
