Formella is Nicholas J. Kiotis and Miranda A. Kiotis‘s daughter. Formella’s husband Michael “Mike” A. Grandberg Formella is Randy Formella and Kathy Grandberg Formella‘s son.

  • On March 16, 2025, Downers Grove detectives conducted a traffic stop on her while she was with Mike and took her into custody. She was charged with criminal sexual assault against a minor and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
  • On March 17, 2025, she appeared in court and was granted pre-trial release.
  • On June 17, 2025, the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office announced 52 additional charges against her namely six counts of grooming, six counts of indecent solicitation of a child, 20 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and 20 counts of criminal sexual assault.
