Born in Jasper, Dubois County, Indiana, United States, Michael Braun is the incumbent and 52nd governor of Indiana. He assumed office on January 13, 2025.

On June 8, 2024, Aleah Dean of Southern Indiana was crowned Miss Indiana Teen USA 2024 at the Schrott Center for the Arts of Butler University in Indianapolis. The respective first, second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Beverly Lopez of Indianapolis, Summer Ratcliffe of Ripley County, JJ Kokonaing of Huntertown, Jetta Hayes of Carmel and Sophia Hunt of Westfield.
On August 1, 2024, Dean represented Indiana at Miss Teen USA 2024 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was unplaced.
Miss Indiana Teen USA 2025
On April 5, 2025, Dean will crown her successor at Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana. It is the 43rd edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Indiana’s Miss Teen USA candidate.
