Jaclyn Diiorio, 26, of Runnemede, Camden County, New Jersey, United States has a former boyfriend, who is a police officer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The man, 53, has a daughter, 19.
Diiorio was the police officer’s barber. Authorities did not release his name.
In 2024, Diiorio and the police officer started dating. In September 2024, his residence was vandalized by a Molotov cocktail.
Over the summer of 2024, Diiorio filed a temporary restraining order against the police officer, which was later dropped. On March 6, 2025, their relationship ended.
After the breakup, Diiorio allegedly planned to pay an informant about $12,000 to kill the police officer and his teenage daughter. The suspect and the informant met through Tinder, a dating app based in West Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, USA and launched in 2012.
On March 31, 2025, Diirio met the informant for the first time at a Wawa in Runnemede. After their first meeting, they exchanged text messages and phone calls and on April 3, 2025, he alerted police about her plan to have her ex-boyfriend and his daughter killed.
On April 4, 2025, Diiorio met the informant in the parking lot of a Dollar General store in the 1300 block of North Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township, Camden County. She allegedly paid him $500 in cash.
After the exchange, Gloucester Township Police Department officers arrested Diiorio in the parking lot. When she was arrested, she had a bottle of suspected alprazolam pills on her.
On April 9, 2025, Diirio will appear in court for a detention hearing. She was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in Camden, Camden County and charged with illegal possession of a prescription drug, conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of attempted murder.
