John C. Todaro, 49 of Amherst, New York, United States was recently arrested. He was released on his own recognizance after his arraignment.

Aside from Amherst, Todaro has lived in other parts of New York including Batavia, Buffalo, Clarence and Snyder. He is the vice president of the Buffalo chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA).
As an active member of the charitable worldwide motorcycle organization, Todaro would have had opportunities to be around children, according to the New York State Police, which is based in Clarence, New York. An Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in Amherst determined that he possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography.
In November 2024, Todaro turned 39. On April 9, 2025, he was arrested.
Todaro was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. In May 2025, he will be back in court.
Whether or not Todaro is related to Joseph A. “Big Joe” Todaro Jr. has yet to be confirmed. The latter owns La Nova Pizzeria, a pizzeria chain in Buffalo, which is around 13.3 miles away from Amherst.
In 1990, Big Joe resigned as business agent of the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA). His son Joseph Edward Todaro III operates a chicken wing spin-off under the La Nova Pizzeria brand.

Lisa Lilly‘s husband John Paul “Chief” Lilly was a child play therapist of Native American descent. For 18 years, he taught play therapy at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA.
In 1995, Chief founded BACA in Provo. On June 20, 2024, he passed away.
BACA works to protect children across 18 countries from dangerous individuals and situations. Aside from the U.S., the other countries are Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
