Austin Robert Drummond, 28, of Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee, United States has been arrested. Prior to this, the U.S. Marshals Service offered $10,000 and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation offered $7,500 for any information leading to his arrest.
The accused quadruple murderer had been staying in a vacant building in Jackson. He was on Tennessee’s most wanted list on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Drummond has blue eyes and blonde hair. He is 5’10” tall and he weighs around 190 pounds.
In 2013, Drummond was convicted of armed robbery of a convenience store in Jackson. In 2014, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for aggravated robbery and retaliation.
In 2023, Drummond was charged with several counts of contraband in a penal facility for possession of meth and a handgun. In September 2024, he was released from prison and in November 2024, he was charged with attempted first-degree murder and contraband in a penal facility.
On July 29, 2025, Cortney Rose, 38, James Matthew Wilson, 21, Adriana Williams, 20, and Braydon Williams, 15, were found dead in a wooded area on Carrington Road in Tiptonville, Lake County, Tennessee. They were murdered allegedly by Drummond.
Rose is Adriana and Braydon’s mother. Drummond had dated one of Rose’s sisters.
Wilson and Adriana have a daughter named Weslynne Wilson, who was born in January 2025. Weslynne was found sitting in a car seat in an unconnected person’s front yard in Tigrett, Dyer County, Tennessee hours before her parents, uncle and grandmother were found dead in Tiptonville.
On July 30, 2025, the TBI identified Drummond as the suspect. After the murders, he went on the run allegedly with the help of his associates Tanaka Brown, 29, Giovonte Thomas, 29, and Dearrah Sanders, 23.
On August 1, 2025, TBI director David Rausch said investigators believe the quadruple murders were a targeted attack. On the same day, Brown was arrested, booked into the Lake County Jail in Tiptonville and charged with being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
On August 2, 2025, Thomas was arrested while he was already booked into the Madison County Jail in Jackson on an unrelated charge. He was charged with being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and moved to the Lake County Jail for arraignment.
On August 3, 2025, Drummond was spotted in Jackson. Security cameras recorded him wearing camouflage and armed with a rifle so a shelter-in-place order was issued.
On August 4, 2025, Sanders was arrested and charged with being accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Shortly after 9:00 a.m. on August 5, 2025, Drummond was taken into custody in Jackson.
