Sarah Grace Patrick, 17, of Carrollton, Carroll County, Georgia, United States is Doniel Patrick and Kristin Brock‘s daughter. Brock was married to James Brock.
Sarah has a younger sister born in 2020. On February 20, 2025, the younger sister found Kristin and James dead inside their residence in Carrollton.
James was 45. Kristin was 41.

James and Kristin were asleep in bed when they were fatally shot allegedly by Sarah. The teenager, then 16, called 911 after allegedly murdering the couple.
From March 2025 to June 2025, Sarah took to social media to ask for sympathy and prayers for healing. On June 3, 2025, she sent a message to a true crime content creator known as Allegedly Reportedly and asked for help to cover the murders of her mother and stepfather.
On July 8, 2025, Sarah turned herself in. She was originally charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
On August 19, 2025, Sarah appeared before Judge Jeffrey Hightower in court in Carrollton. The teenager, who is being charged as an adult, was additionally charged with of two counts of malice murder and two weapons charges.
Also in court were James’ oldest son Trysten Brock and James’ sister Kim Bowling. On the stand, Bowling said she fears for her own safety and the safety of her family and friends considering that Sarah “can kill her own parents in such a violent manner”.
Trysten told Hightower that Sarah would absolutely try to flee if given the chance rather than stand trial. On the hand, her pastor Ben Booner and family friend Carrie Jensen took the stand to convince the judge to allow the teenager to be released on bond.
In the end, Sarah was denied bond. If a grand jury indicts her for the murders of James and Kristin, the teenager’s trial will start on January 5, 2026.
