10 things about Mister International Ghana 2025 Bernard Yartei

Bernard Kaw Yartei Asibu represented Ghana in the 17th edition of Mister International. It is an international beauty pageant founded by Alan Sim.

After Sim’s death October 12, 2022, two versions of Mister International started being held annually in Thailand and in the Philippines. Yartei participated in the competition in Thailand.

BIOGRAPHY

Yartei is a Ghanaian travel consultant, sportsman and beauty king from the Central Region of Ghana. When he was a Mister International 2025 candidate, he said he was inspired by the cultural influence of Michael Bakari Jordan, who was born in Santa Ana, California, United States and raised in Newark, New Jersey, USA.

Mister International 2025 is Yartei’s first international beauty pageant. Here are 10 more things about him:

1. As a sportsman, he plays basketball, football and tennis.
2. He is quadrilingual.
3. He is into dance and art.
4. He is the first beauty king to represent Ghana in Mister International.

6. He is Mr. Universe Ghana Central 2022.

TIMELINE

Yartei is 6’2″ tall. He is fluent in English, Ga, Twi and Fante and he enjoys swimming, night driving, reading novels and playing video games.

2022

• On November 5, 2022, he represented the Central Region of Ghana at Mr. Universe Ghana 2022 and competed against 15 other candidates at the Alliance Française d’Accra in Accra, Ghana. He was second runner-up to Ashi Vils.

2025

• On August 15, 2025, he was officially appointed Mister International Ghana 2025.
• Before travelling to Khon Kaen, Thailand on September 14, 2025, he went to Lagos, Nigeria where he prepared and trained for Mister International 2025.
• On September 26, 2025, he represented Ghana at Mister International 2025 and compete against 41 other candidates at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bang Khen, Nonthaburi, Thailand. He was unplaced.
