San Miguel, El Salvador’s Florence Gisselle Garcia won Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 at Teatro Presidente in San Salvador, El Salvador on September 7, 2024. She competed against 13 other candidates including Santa Ana, El Salvador’s Luciana Martínez and Ahuachapán, El Salvador’s Giselle Sandoval, who were the respective first and second runners-up.
Miss Universe El Salvador 2025 predictions
On September 26, 2025, Garcia’s successor will be crowned at the Palacio Tecleño de la Cultura y las Artes in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
Currently, El Salvador has five Miss Universe placements including the first runner-up finish of Maribel Arrieta Gálvez in 1955 and the Top 12 finish of Carmen Elena Figueroa in 1975. Representing the country, Eleonora Beatrice Corrillo Alamanni, Carmen Milena Mayorga and Isabella Garcia Manzo finished in the Top 10 in the international beauty pageant in 1995, 1996 and 2023, respectively.

El Salvador was represented in Miss Universe by Miss El Salvador from 1954 to 2003 and in 2023, Nuestra Belleza El Salvador from 2004 to 2016, Reinado de El Salvador from 2017 to 2022 and Miss Universe El Salvador in 2024. Magali Febles became the country’s Miss Universe national director in 2024.
On November 16, 2024, Florence represented El Salvador at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She was unplaced.
