Tahiti Moorea Seymour represented the Cayman Islands in the 74th edition of Miss Universe. She is the daughter of Dwayne “John John” Seymour and Melaynee Basdeo, who chose the name Tahiti Moorea in memory of their honeymoon in French Polynesia.

John John is the founder of Airport Professional Services Cayman. Based in Hong Kong, China, Basdeo married Brett Basdeo on December 18, 2021.

Tahiti is a Caymanian activist and beauty queen born and raised in Bodden Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. She is the founder of Zero Hunger Universe, which builds a policy framework for health, resilience and food security.

Aside from Bodden Town, Tahiti has lived in other parts of Grand Cayman including George Town. She is an alumna of Ridley College in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada and the Queen Mary University of London in Mile End, East London, London, England, United Kingdom.
