Dalton Lee Janiczek is an alumnus of La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Springfield Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a Catholic all-male college preparatory school established in 1858.

BIOGRAPHY

Janiczek is an American athlete from Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County. He is Lee J. Janiczek Jr. and Anne Janiczek-Nees‘s son.

Lee Jr. played lacrosse at Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania and Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania before becoming a lawyer. Anne was an alumna of Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and Temple Law School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

  • On February 28, 2014, his mother died at Abington Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. She was 45.

2020s

  • On July 13, 2020, his grandmother Carole died at age 76.
  • His grandfather Lee Sr. turned 82 on March 29, 2023 and died in Media, Pennsylvania on January 31, 2024.
  • On October 24, 2025, he allegedly fled officers in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County when they tried to pull him over for a routine traffic infraction. He steered his sport utility vehicle over the center median on Skippack Pike in Skippack, Skippack Township, Montgomery County and 40 minutes later, his vehicle was spotted at a Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County. As officers in a patrol car descended on him, he threw his SUV into reverse, repeatedly struck the patrol car and aimed his SUV at one of the officers. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
  • On October 25, 2025, he was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt, who denied bail.
  • On November 4, 2025, he will appear in court for a preliminary hearing.
