Justice Johnpaul Figuareido, 27, of Eswatini has made history as the first ever Mister Frontier Africa. On December 21, 2025, CONAN Daily selected the Swazi footballer as the country’s candidate in the inaugural edition of Mister Frontier International.

The publication established the exclusive digital search to spotlight the last frontiers of beauty pageants, which include Eswatini. This ensures that  by the end of 2025, every country and territory has a representative celebrated in pageantry.

Eswatini is a landlocked country known as one of the last absolute monarchies of Africa. Formerly known as Swaziland, the country has been a member of the United Nations since September 24, 1968.

On the international stage, Figuareido is a vital component of the Eswatini national football team, having earned over 20 caps since his debut in 2018. He has represented his country in various prestigious competitions, including the COSAFA Cup, Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. One of his standout international performances occurred in October 2025 when he scored a crucial brace in a 2–2 draw against Angola during a World Cup qualification match.

Mister Frontier International 2025

With Figuareido’s consistent presence in both the South African league and the national setup, he remains one of Eswatini’s most successful footballing exports. To honor his efforts to put his country on the map through sports, he was appointed Mister Frontier Eswatini 2025 by CONAN Daily.

Including Figuareido, 35 men were handpicked by the publication as the Mister Frontier International 2025 candidates. They were scored based on the engagement their photos and videos received on the CONAN Daily platforms from December 21-30, 2025, their photogenicity and their global influence.

As the highest ranking candidate from Africa, Figuareido won the Mister Frontier Africa 2025 title. CONAN Daily now considers him the ambassador of all African countries underrepresented in beauty pageants until the next winner of the title is crowned.

It was Prince Abdul Mateen, 34, of Brunei who won the Mister Frontier International 2025 crown. Also crowned were Mister Frontier Diamond 2025 Karalo Maibuca, 26, of Tuvalu, Mister Frontier Sapphire 2025 Kaimauri Erati, 20, of Kiribati, Mister Frontier Emerald 2025 Winzar Kakiouea, 24, of Nauru and Mister Frontier Ruby 2025 Myrat Bayram, 35, of Turkmenistan.

Mister Frontier International is an independent, non-commercial digital initiative. All titles are strictly honorary and do not carry monetary rewards, physical sashes or material prizes. The true value of each title is the historic opportunity to serve as a global ambassador for a nation rarely celebrated in beauty pageants. By bypassing the traditional physical stage, the titleholder and CONAN Daily join forces to make history in pageantry.
