In 1999, Deborah joined the Centennial School District as a math teacher. The man she had been dating since 2017 had not heard from her since January 24, 2026.

When the boyfriend went to Deborah’s residence in Doylestown on January 25, 2026, he did not see her and her vehicle there. He then drove to Fred, Judith and Kevin’s residence in Churchville and arrived there at around 6:30 p.m.

The boyfriend saw Deborah’s vehicle in the driveway but there was no footprints in the snow leading up to the front door. The lights were off and no one answered after he repeatedly banged on the door so he left without contacting the police.

At around 2:15 p.m. on January 26, 2026, the boyfriend went back to the residence in Churchville and repeatedly knocked on the door. Kevin answered and told the man that Deborah probably went on vacation.

Kevin allegedly opened the door with a knife in his hand and threatened to kill the boyfriend, who immediately left and called 911. Police officers went to the residence and found Fred, Judith and Deborah’s bodies.

After a five-hour standoff, Kevin was taken into custody. He reportedly confessed to police and hospital workers about the murders.

On January 27, 2026, Kevin was video arraigned before District Judge Brian Marriott on three homicide charges and 18 related misdemeanors including three counts of abuse of corpse in the deaths of his sister Judith and their parents. The Churchville man was transferred to Bucks County Correctional Center in Doylestown without bail.
