The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 journey started with 51 candidates including Imelda Bautista Schweighart, 30, of Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. She was disqualified on March 28, 2026.

The remaining candidates are competing in a three-part quarterfinals. After the evening gown competition, only 40 will proceed to the next part, which is the preliminary interview. Twenty of them are from the votes and another 20 are chosen by the selection committee. The results were announced on April 11, 2026.

Top 30
After the preliminary interview, only 30 will proceed to the next part, which is the swimsuit round. Fifteen of them are from the votes and another 15 are chosen by the selection committee. The results will be announced on April 18, 2026.
The 30 remaining quarterfinalists will participate in the coronation ceremony at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 2, 2026. Only 20 semifinalists, which include 10 voted by the public and 10 chosen by the selection committee, will proceed to the next round.
Ultimately, there will be six finalists. Aside from the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 titleholder, there will be a first runner-up and a second runner-up. The remaining three will be crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2026, Miss Eco Philippines 2026 and Miss Cosmo Philippines 2026.
