Lyshanda Moyas of Gweru, Midlands Province, Zimbawe competed against 19 other Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 candidates at the Harare Hippodrome in Braeside, Harare, Zimbabwe on May 14, 2025. She won the title.

Runner-up to Moyas was Onesimo Nkomo of Nkayi and the second runner-up was Rumbidzai Muzopa of Honde Valley. The judges were Brooke Bruk-Jackson, Minnie Baloyi-Chiwenga, Paloma Mlunjwana, Roseanne Hall, Tsungai Makwanya and Zak Hawa.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe contestants

On June 6, 2026, Moyas will crown her successor at the Harare Hippodrome. It is the sixth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Zimbabwe’s Miss Universe candidate.

This edition will also crown the country’s next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, Top Model of the World and Miss Cosmo candidates. The coronation ceremony will be hosted by Tich Mataz and Zozibini Tunzi.

There are 30 women competing for the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 crown and the six other titles at stake. Here are the candidates:

    Lyshanda Moyas

    Before winning Miss Universe Zimbabwe, Moyas competed in Miss Global Zimbabwe, Miss Zimbabwe Queen and Miss International Zimbabwe. She has been modeling professionally since 2011.

    Moyas was supposed to represent Zimbabwe at Miss Intercontinental 2021 at the Sharm El-Sheikh Museum in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt on October 29, 2021. However, she withdrew from the competition.

    On November 21, 2025, Moyas represented Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2025 and competed against 119 other candidates at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She finished in the Top 30.
