Billy Wayne Pilgrim, 38, of Pineville, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, United States was arrested by the Louisiana State Police on February 6, 2024. He is accused of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Bond for Pilgrim was set at $75,000. He was booked into the Grant Parish Detention Center in Grant Parish, Louisiana.
The Louisiana State Police has yet to release details about Pilgrim’s alleged crime. He was employed with the Rapides Parish School Board at the time of his arrest.

From June 2016 to November 2017, Pilgrim was a clerk at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas, USA. From November 2017 to August 2019, he worked there as a training specialist.
From February 2020 to April 2020, Pilgrim was an industrial expeditor at Epic Industrial in Canton, Texas. From March 2021 to September 2021, he was an operations analyst at CHRISTUS Health in Alexandria.
From November 2021 to July 2022, Pilgrim was a sales representative at Impact Advertising in Alexandria. In August 2022, he joined Rapides High School in Lecompte, Rapides Parish as a teacher.
