35 Miss Universe Canada 2026 candidates to compete in Windsor, Ontario

The Miss Universe Canada 2026 coronation ceremony will be held at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on August 8, 2026. It is the 24th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the country.

Miss Cosmo Colombia national director Jose Saltaren designed the winner’s crown. In this edition, the first runner-up will be crowned Miss Cosmo Canada 2026.

Miss Universe Canada 2026 contestants

Ashley Callingbull and Sonny Borrelli will host the Miss Universe Canada 2026 coronation ceremony. Madison Kvaltin will serve as the backstage host.

Miss Universe Canada 2025

On August 5, 2025, Jaime Yvonne VandenBerg of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada competed against 71 other Miss Universe Canada 2025 candidates at the St. Clair College Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. She won the title.

Runner-up to VandenBerg was Karmen Brar of Windsor. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Jabili Kandula of London, Malayika Kwizera of Ottawa and Kamuahao Hei of Edmonton.

On November 18, 2025, VanderBerg turned 29. On November 21, 2025, she represented Canada at Miss Universe 2025, competed against 119 other candidates at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand and finished in the Top 30.

On December 20, 2025, Samantha Slewa represented Canada at Miss Cosmo 2025, competed against 70 other candidates at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and was unplaced. On May 14, 2026, VandenBerg and her boyfriend Aaron Hernandez welcomed their daughter Charlotte Nicole Hernandez VandenBerg.
