Tharina Botes
Botes is an alumna of Hoërskool Monument High School in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, South Africa. She is a former resident of Roodepoort, Gauteng and in Cape Town, South Africa.
On October 27, 2016, Botes represented South Africa at Miss International 2016 and competed against 68 other candidates in Tokyo, Japan. She was unplaced.
On November 18, 2018, Botes represented South Africa at Miss Model of the World 2018 and competed against 59 other candidates in Shenzhen, China. She finished in the Top 36.
On March 9, 2024, Botes represented Thailand at Miss World 2023 and competed against 111 other candidates at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. She was unplaced.
On November 17, 2026, Botes will turn 30. On November 24, 2026, she will represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2026 and compete against more than 120 other candidates at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States.
