A winner of Miss Maine Purotu Cook Islands of Victoria 2025, Mataiti works in aviation and hails from Aitutaki. Tajiya Eikura Sahay, representing the Cook Islands, was crowned Miss World Oceania 2019 in London on December 14, 2019. Competing among 111 candidates, she succeeded Jessica Tyson. Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica won the Miss World 2019 title, with Ophély Mézino and Suman Rao as runners-up. Six continental queens were also crowned.
