Targeting mainly elderly victims, he and his conspirators claimed they had won prizes in exchange for upfront payments, stealing over $4 million. A jury convicted him on multiple fraud charges in September 2024.
San Francisco, California’s Tyler Ross ordered to pay $200K
Tyler Ross, a licensed attorney and former real estate executive, pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit an offense against the U.S. between 2015 and 2019. He falsified financial documents for underperforming properties to secure refinancing. Ross was sentenced to one year and one day in prison, plus a $200,000 fine.
