Meredith Kercher was a 21-year-old English woman, born in London, who studied in Italy. An aspiring journalist passionate about Italian culture, she was murdered in Perugia on November 2, 2007. She was known for her friendly nature, and her death led to the arrests of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito.
