Miss Eco Universe, formed in 2015 by Dr. Amal Rezk and LTCP, was originally called Miss Eco Queen. In 2016, Patricia Peklar crowned Natalia Carvajal as the winner at the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt, among 54 candidates. The event highlighted eco-conscious beauty, featuring various special awards for the participants.
