Hong Kong, China debuted in the Miss Earth pageant in 2005 but has not yet secured a placement. Founded in 2001 by Lorraine Schuck, this beauty contest emphasizes environmental awareness. Seven queens have held the Miss Earth Hong Kong title, all finishing unplaced except for the 2024 contestant, Ariel Tse, whose outcome is pending.

China joined the Miss Earth pageant in 2002. Founded by Lorraine Schuck, it takes place in Metro Manila, Philippines. Since then, multiple representatives have participated, with only Zhou Mengting in 2006 and Lisa Xiang Yang in 2013 achieving Top 16 placements. The rest have gone unplaced in the competition.

China’s Haotian Sun, Pengfei Xue sentenced for scheme to defraud Apple out of 6K+ iPhones
Haotian Sun and Pengfei Xue, both 34 and from Maryland, defrauded Apple by submitting over 6,000 counterfeit iPhones for repairs between May 2017 and September 2019, resulting in over $2.5 million in losses. Convicted of mail fraud, Sun received a 57-month sentence and Xue 54 months, with restitution orders.
