Wissam Hanna from Lebanon was crowned Mister International 2006 on October 7, 2006, at The Pavillion in Singapore, competing against 18 candidates. He later crowned Alan Bianco Martini Malgioglio of Brazil as his successor on December 31, 2007, in Malaysia, where 17 participants competed.

Rock Records releases Gary Chaw’s album ‘Blue’
Gary Chaw's second album, released by Rock Records on January 27, 2006, features 11 tracks, mostly composed by Chaw, except the opening song "Superwoman" by notable composers. Rock Records, established in 1986, has expanded across Asia. Chaw, multilingual and raised by his grandfather, previously released his self-titled debut in 2001.
