Carl Gersuny was an Austrian-American sociology professor and author, born in Vienna and later residing in New York City. He earned degrees from Columbia University and Western Reserve University. Notable works include "Punishment and Redress in a Modern Factory." Gersuny passed away on August 14, 2013, at age 85.
