Shanaelle Liana Petty, born in Germany, is an American-Croatian beauty queen. She won Miss Universe Croatia 2017 and represented Croatia at Miss Universe 2017 in Las Vegas. In April 2018, she crowned Mia Pojatina as her successor at the Miss Universe Croatia 2018 event, attended by notable personalities.

Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, hosted Miss Universe Croatia 2017, where 19-year-old Shanaelle Liana Petty won. She placed in the Top 16 at the Miss Universe 2017 competition. On April 21, 2018, Petty will crown her successor in the national pageant, which features 19 candidates.

Mirta Laura Kuštan, a 22-year-old from Krapinske Toplice, represented Croatia at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, competing among 80 candidates. Initially a second runner-up in Miss Universe Croatia 2015, she was sent to the pageant due to an injury to the titleholder. In 2016, Barbara Filipovic was crowned Miss Universe Croatia.

Barbara Ljiljak, a 5'9" Croatian model pursuing a veterinary degree, won Miss Universe Croatia 2015. Due to an arm injury, she could not attend Miss Universe 2015, with Mirta Laura Kuštan representing Croatia instead. The 2016 pageant features 20 candidates, and Ljiljak will crown her successor on April 15, 2016.

Ivana Mišura, a Croatian model born in Zagreb, won Miss Universe Croatia 2014 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2014. Though unplaced, she later crowned Barbara Ljiljak as Miss Universe Croatia 2015. Croatia has achieved two Miss Universe placements in past years. Mišura speaks Croatian, English, and Italian.
