Archie Rutherford was an American businessman and theater director from Spokane, born in 1924. He directed plays at Spokane Civic Theatre and owned drive-in restaurants. He was fatally stabbed in 1982, allegedly by Tracy Pruitt, who died in jail in 2023. Archie is survived by his wife Eleanor and their son.
