The Japan Foundation, Manila hosted the Contemporary Wood-Carved Netsuke exhibition at Ayala Malls Greenbelt 5 from July 1-21, 2019, showcasing 65 works by Japanese artists. The event featured talks and workshops by renowned netsuke artists and coincided with Philippine-Japan Friendship Month and the 22nd Japanese Film Festival, EIGASAI.
