Larissa Costa Silva de Oliveira, born in Natal, Brazil, is a beauty queen who won Miss Brazil 2009 and represented her country at Miss Universe 2009 but was unplaced. She later crowned Debora Lyra as Miss Brazil 2010. Larissa stood at 5'91⁄2" tall during her pageant career.

27 Miss Brazil 2010 candidates competing in Sao Paulo
Brazil has won two Miss Universe crowns, held by Ieda Maria Vargas and Martha Vasconcellos. Hil Hernandez, representing Chile, won Miss Earth 2006 in Manila at age 22. Nearly a year later, she crowned Jessica Trisko from Canada as Miss Earth 2007. The pageant featured 88 candidates, with notable awards including Best in Talent to Monica Baliunaite and the Beauty for a Cause Award to Bokang Montjane.
