Rachel Wyatt, crowned Miss South Carolina 2016 at age 21, represented her state in Miss America 2017, finishing as a runner-up. A Clemson University student, she previously held the title of Miss Clemson University and Miss South Carolina Teen 2012. She crowned Suzi Roberts as Miss South Carolina 2017 on June 24, 2017.
