Yanina Lucas crowns Miss Universe Uruguay 2025 Valeria Baladan in Montevideo
Ana Yanina Lucas Rodríguez from Lavalleja won Miss Universe Uruguay 2024 on August 31, 2024. She crowned Valeria Baladan as her successor on September 10, 2025. Baladan will represent Uruguay in Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand. Uruguay has six Miss Universe placements in its history, with notable finishes in previous years.

Matilda Wirtavuori, born in Tampere, Finland, won Miss Tampere 2021 and subsequently became Miss Suomi 2024. After crowning her successor, Sarah Dzafce, in 2025, Wirtavuori represented Finland in Miss Universe 2024, reaching the Top 30.
