Richard Anthony Sommerhalder was a convicted American mass murderer connected to drug offenses and multiple homicides in California. He was involved in the killings of several women in the 1970s and was later identified posthumously in 2025 through forensic testing as the murderer of Karen Percifield. He died in 1994.
