Thirteen men were arrested during an undercover human trafficking operation conducted by the police department of Solon, Ohio and the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force. The arrestees are from different parts of the state including Brunswick, Burton, Cleveland, Kent, Macedonia, Madison, Reminderville, Solon, Stow and Willoughby.

Carolina, Puerto Rico's Luz Maria Peña Lopez and Tatiana Correa Peña are accused of abusing an intellectually disabled adult woman. Enrique Gutierrez Rivera, 54, was allegedly aware of the abuse but he allegedly failed to report it to the authorities.

Jaden Ellis Sanders, 22, of Birmingham, Alabama is accused of shooting Alfred Stephens, 73, of Bessemer, Alabama on October 17, 2025 in Birmingham. Stephens died at UAB Hospital on October 18, 2025 and Sanders was arrested in Warrior, Alabama on October 20, 2025.

Palestine, Texas’s Leah Vernon, Eric Adams, Laquella Berry, West Holmes arrested
West Holmes, Leah Vernon, Eric Adams, and Laquella Berry were arrested in Palestine, Texas, for child endangerment after police found Berry's four young children unattended in a motel. Holmes was also charged with online solicitation of a minor. All three face serious charges, with bond set at $200,000 each.

Christopher David Parsley III, 19, of Centreville, Maryland was fatally shot in Queenstown, Maryland on June 1, 2025. In relation to the shooting, Travis Lissau, 27, of Centreville, James Lawson, 20, of Queenstown and Kamryn Andrews, 19, of Seaford, Delaware were arrested on October 8, 2025.

Bond for Porter, Texas’s Oninda Romelus set at $14M
Oninda Romelus, 31, of Porter, Texas is accused of shooting her four children aged 13, 9, 8 and 3. The oldest child and the youngest one died and the other two children survived. The mother's bond was set at $14 million.
