US Marshals arrest Memphis, Tennessee’s Jessica Harris
Jessica Harris, 35, has been arrested for fatally shooting Christian Ramos, 22, in Verona, Mississippi. It is unclear if they knew each other. Harris faces charges of first-degree murder and shooting into a dwelling. After evading authorities, she was apprehended in Memphis and awaits extradition to Mississippi.

Hampton Brooks Templeton, son of Morgan and Catherine Templeton, has been arrested twice in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In September 2023, he was charged with pointing and presenting a firearm, and in January 2024, with first degree assault and battery. Despite receiving payroll expenses from his mother, Catherine, the reason for his employment remains unclear. Hampton's court appearance is scheduled for June 7, 2024.
