Abigail Havora crowns Miss Pacific Islands 2016 Anne Dunn in Apia
Abigail Havora from Papua New Guinea won Miss Pacific Islands 2015, held on December 12, 2015. She later crowned Anne Christine Dunn from Fiji as her successor on December 2, 2016. The 2016 pageant featured seven contestants, with various awards given for talents and appearances during the event.

Teuira Raechel Shanti Napa represented the Cook Islands and won Miss South Pacific 2013 in Honiara. On December 20, 2014, she crowned Alofa Dawn Latafale Auva'a from Samoa as Miss Pacific Islands 2014. This marked the transition from Miss South Pacific to Miss Pacific Islands, with Auva'a being the inaugural titleholder.
